The objective of this course is to train students on reading technical papers, writing reports and making presentation in a professional way. In addition, students will be trained to prepare a work plan of their projects.

5 April 2010 - 12:30-14:30 (2 Hours) Writing a short paper

In this lecture, we will make a training to apply the recommendation provided in the previous lecture " How to read, How to Write and How to Present". Each student will start writing a short paper of one page presenting his project and the state of the art.

Assignment 1: Continue writing the short paper 1-2 pages describing the motivation, the context and the state of the art of your graduation project.
Deadline: 12 April 2010 (hard deadline) - submitted in my mailbox (third floor, CCIS).

Assignment 2: prepare a powerpoint presentation presenting the context and motivation of your graduation project.
Deadline: 19 April 2010 (hard deadline) - presentation will be made in class during lecture.

19 April 2010 - 12:30-14:30 (2 Hours) Writing a report

Assignment 3: prepare a powerpoint presentation showing showing the state-of-the art of your project.
Deadline: 10 May 2010 (hard deadline) - presentation will be made in class during lecture.

Assignment 4: prepare a first draft the graduation project report (Introduction + State of the Art) according to the recommendation learnt in class.
Deadline: 8 May 2010 (hard deadline) - submitted in my office (third floor, CCIS).

10 May 2010 - 12:30-14:30 (2 Hours) Training presentations

Assignment 5: prepare the last version of the complete powerpoint presentation.
Deadline: 24 May 2010 (hard deadline) - presentations will be made in class during lecture.

Assignment 6: prepare the last version of the complete graduation project report (Introduction + State of the Art) according to the recommendation learnt in class.
Deadline: 22 May 2010 (hard deadline) - presentation will be made in class during lecture.

24 May 2010 - 12:30-14:30 (4 Hours) Final presentations END OF CLASSES
